10.1.345 (Pre-Release)

  • Improvement: WhosOn now uses TLS 1.3 as the default for incoming connections (TLS 1.2 is still supported, TLS 1.1 has been removed).
  • Improvement: The WhosOn Gateway now enforces HSTS (HTTP Strict Transport Security) once a certificate is assigned.
  • Improvement: Added additional security measures to block bad chat connections at the Gateway level.
  • Improvement: The WhosOn Client will now show a Request Password Reset button on a failed login. A new temporary password will be sent to the email address assigned to the user.
  • Improvement: Updated AI settings to allow use of latest models for OpenAI and Grok (GPT 5.1/5.2, Grok 4.1).
  • Improvement: Added Claude, Google Gemini and Perplexity to the available AI providers.
  • Improvement: Bots can now be set to only pickup chats from visitors in specific countries.
  • Improvement: The Start Chat button can now be set to only be visible for visitors in specific countries.
  • Improvement: Updated Geo-IP database to Jan 2026.
  • New: Added Voyage AI as an option to for generating embeddings for AI bot semantic search. This can be used instead of OpenAI embeddings. Voyage AI provides high quality, fast and low-cost text embeddings. See: Voyage AI.
